Jane Whitson June 28, 1933 - June 20, 2024 MOUNT PULASKI - The Lord welcomed home Jane Whitson, of Mt. Pulaski on Thursday June 20, 2024. Our sweet , kind and loving wife and mother. Jane was born on June 28, 1933, in Macon County, the daughter of Alvin T. and Florence M. (Larrabee) Boyd. She was the 11th child and the youngest of the family. As a child, she liked to be known as "Miss A.T. Boyd." Jane graduated from Argenta High School at the age of 16 and began working at AE Staley as a switchboard operator. She married Lynn Whitson on January 2, 1953, when he was on leave from the Navy. She went to Virginia for a short time and to Long Beach, CA, where he was stationed until March, 1955. Her four children were born between 1955 and 1959. She loved her children and being a mother. She was a hard working farm wife for most of her life. She enjoyed being outdoors working alongside her family, when she wasn't in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for family and workers. Jane also e
