William "Bill" Philo AllinNovember 17, 1930 - November 8, 2024McLEAN - William "Bill" Philo Allin, 93, of McLean, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. Services for Bill will be at the McLean Christian Church on Friday, November 15, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and run until the funeral services at 11 a.m. Mr. Tony Billingsley will officiate. Burial will follow at the McLean Cemetery.William Philo Allin was born November 17, 1930, in Lincoln, IL, the son of William Philo and Maybelle Marie Stones Allin. He was united in marriage to Thelma Horath on June 5, 1953. She preceded Bill in death on May 31, 2019.Bill was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Moreland.He is survived by one niece, Kris (Lloyd) Nash; and one nephew, Ken (Cheryl) Moreland; along with additional extended family and dear friends.Bill was the last name-bearing descendent of James Allin who settled and plotted out McLean County. Bill was exceptionally proud to be the great-grandson of the family
