Williams, 89, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.Pauline Hickey was born September 16, 1935, in Lincoln, the daughter of Edward and Daisy Higgins Hickey. She graduated from St. Patrick's Grade School and Lincoln Community High School.Pauline is survived by her sons Jeffrey of Arizona, and Daniel of Lincoln, IL; niece Debbie (Ron) Ackerman and nephew Steven Smith, both of Lincoln.She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gregory Williams; her brother Edward "Eddie" Hickey; sister, Phyllis Smith; and one nephew.She was employed at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in the registration department for 24 years as a supervisor and then at BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal for 35 years as a facilitator.In addition to her love and devotion to her immediate family, Pauline treasured her former work family and their friendship as well.
