Peggy Jo Mustain, age 75 of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at her home in Lincoln. She was born July 14, 1949, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Harold and Jaunita Le Clere Welch. Peggy was united in marriage to Albert Lee Mustain on Oct. 4, 1969. He preceded her in death April 11, 2015.They had six children, Clint (Stacie) Mustain of Coquille, Ore., Kyle (Kristy) Mustain, Peoria, Krista (Chris) Davis, Colchester, Curt Mustain, Lincoln, Collin Mustain, New Holland, Corey Mustain, Lincoln, seven grandchildren, Jackson (Rebecca) Parm, Caden Reinhart, Kyleigh Mustain, Cooper Mustain, Katherine Mustain, Kal Mustain, Conner Mustain, three sisters, Pat Byers, Carthage, Judy (Gerald) Allison, Carthage, Vicki (Rick) Crum, Marquette Heitz, along with many nieces and nephews.Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Shirley Haines, Sherry Nye and one brother, Jerry Welch.Peggy graduated from Western Illinois University to become a teacher.
