Judith Kay (Scogin) ArvinMarch 9, 1941 - January 27, 2025EUREKA - Judith (Judy) Kay Arvin, of Eureka, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Roanoke, Ill. Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. She was born in Clinton, Ill., on March 9, 1941, to the late Homer A. and Dorothy F. (Stone) Scogin. She married Owen G. Arvin on June 8, 1962Judy graduated from Wapella High School in 1959, attended Illinois State University and then Decatur Macon School of Nursing where she graduated in 1963 with a degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for many years in various locations including Saint Francis NICU Peoria, Ill., Midwest Kidney Center Dialysis Unit Bloomington, Ill., and Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Eureka, Ill.Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Dorothy Scogin; brother, Allan Scogin; husband, Owen Arvin; and son, William "Lane" Arvin.She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Murphy, Downs, Ill.; so
